Cookie Policy
This site doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't show a cookie banner, because it doesn't need one. Here's exactly what it does store, and why.
1. The short version
This website does not set any cookies: not for tracking, not for advertising, not even to remember a cookie preference, because there's no cookie banner to remember a preference for. The only thing it stores on your device is described in full below, and it's there to make one feature work, not to track you. That's why you won't see a "accept cookies" pop-up anywhere on this site.
2. What this site actually stores
Design Your Bathroom: local storage. If you use our Design Your Bathroom tool, we save your finish, tile and vanity choices in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) under the key agw:design:v2, so you can leave and come back to the same look. This stays on your device, is never sent to our servers, and clears itself automatically once you reset your choices. You can also clear it any time via your browser's site-data settings.
Website analytics: no cookies. We use Vercel Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited. It's built to run without cookies and without any identifier that follows you between visits or sites, so it can't be used to build a profile of you individually.
3. Managing your browser storage
Nothing on this site depends on cookies, so blocking them won't break anything here. If you'd rather this site not remember your saved bathroom look between visits, clear this site's data in your browser settings, or simply don't use the "Design Your Bathroom" tool.
4. Third-party services
This site links out to third-party services, Google Maps (for directions) and WhatsApp (for messaging), but doesn't embed them, so nothing loads from them unless you actually click through. Once you do, you're on their site, subject to their own cookie and privacy policies, which we'd recommend reviewing separately.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Questions about our use of cookies can be sent to admin@agwbathrooms.co.uk.
